Well worded and I fully agree. I hold (held?) 11 stocks. One has been suspended pending RE-financing. It may never be reinstated.
One has de-listed but somehow took over a small company and issued shares in that. Investment in original company lost.
One is just at break-even level (luckily my biggest holding.)
The other 8 are at various depths in the red. One of them pays a dividend so long-term is actually about break-even. The other 7 are severely sold off. In most cases I’m down 90%.
The negative sentiment just defies belief. I’m seeing sales contracts announced and a selloff ensues. I’m seeing excellent clinical trial results announced and the SP plummets.
I have had to completely desensitise myself to avoid the knee-jerk reaction to sell out. A nagging wife (“I told you not to invest in that!) doesn’t help.
We’re in Crazy Town at the moment and I don’t know when (or even if!) it is going to end.
