This is an absolute no-brainer. Bull-bars can be more dangerous as they represent a serious threat to all pedestrians and reduce the effectivenesss of a major techicolical advanecement such as the crumple zone, necessary to absorb major impacts and initiate the safe deployment of airbags (where fitted).

On statistics alone 70% of owners of 4 wheel drives never go off-road. In fact the figure is higher but I would incence even more then.

Furthermore four-wheel-drives are the worst aerodynamic design ever, the greatest fuel guzzlers, the worst in accidents, the worst for general driver vision, the worst for re-sale(guaranteed),the worst for our road conditions(on and off) the greatest commercialised piece of sheet out there.
