Trump on track for a massive win., page-621

What amazes me about this election is the appalling standard of candidates presented.

Lincoln must turn in his grave to see what the Republican Party ("The Grand Old Party") has become; as Nancy Pelosi put it on 7:30 the other night "a cult to a thug". That's pretty harsh, as there are plenty of Republicans who would like to get rid of Trump, but instead of choosing a moderate or unity candidate when they had the chance, Republicans made a populist choice and divided the Party. It didn't matter at the time; the geriatric Democrat offering looked like a pushover, but now they're looking at the probability of being defeated by a candidate without much to offer except making Trump look like the geriatric in the race.

Sad to see the once mighty USA in decline.
