Guess you're right ... I don't know what to think of the flat trading this afternoon.

One other possibility is as they have heaps of cash ... they know they can buy under 8.25 and sell at a profit and it gives them both option ... trade for a profit or target 19.9% ... so if they're not real motivated yet - they'll just leave the buy sitting there to be filled slowly.

BPT can't afford a biding war and don't need one either way - so they'll not be active.

Don't have any other ideas.

But 8.25/7.7 is 7% interest over 5 months ... so not too bad either way for cash.
