It is a terrible thing to get captured alive by the enemy in this vicious war but for soldiers, most of whom may know someone, or be related to someone who is a civilian victim, it would be a bitter pill to swallow having to face this kind of questioning.. the interrogation must be terrifying because they will try to extract operational information and it wouldn't be pretty
Russia however brought this upon themselves when they decided to start flying in glide bombs from this region which have been a horrifying escalation and worthy of the Ukrainian response.. Indiscriminate aerial bombardment seems to have the effect of galvanising those who are subject to it
The west has a lot to think about now

I disagree with that. I do agree that Russia got slapped in the face really hard by this incursion.
Very few of the Ukrainian soldiers will return home though.
