This is pure speculation but Warren William & Marilyn Helena Brown have held a stake in TNG since listing in 2010 and I believe the majority of this recent selling pressure has been them.
It seems highly unlikely that they would sell now just as everything gets good after suffering for so long so perhaps they intend to allocate the funds they have sold to help the raise.
Pure speculation but makes sense to me. I would do it if I was them. Everyone wins.
