    Yes, but Walyering is a complete outlier in terms of construction time. And using this as a comparison point is dodgy.
    Compare it to a project like WE, which is currently domestically focused.
    Large takes longer but provides more supply, too.

    The most moronic aspect is this recommendation:

    The argument (which has been dealt with in an intelligent manner) is that to get the investment needed to relieve forcast gas shortages, you need access to export market. This recommendation (if implemented) is essentially telling capital-constrained explorers and developers to raise all the capital needed to address the forecast shortfall (i.e. very difficult when future domestic gas prices are uncertain), start building the multi-year construction projects, and then we'll think about allowing access to export markets.
    It's classic chicken-and-egg thinking. And it's going to produce the very shortfalls they are trying to forestall.
    Anyway, looks like it will be up to Cook to decide. And given this report gave no strong recommendations, any fabourable decision will come after the election.
