i've enjoyed your posts over the years. being relatively new to investing in '08 i listened to some of your tips and researched those stocks myself. ASL has been a huge winner for me . you recommended them at 90c from memory - now 15% of my portfolio so may need to sells some! one thing i've learnt in the last couple of years is not to compare stocks based on dividend yield. i bought CBA at 26, BHP at 26 and COH at 48 - i no longer own these stocks!!!! sold them for a moderate profit -silly me -i've learnt from my mistakes. the companies above are huge and probably increase the yield per annum more than most -they were a definite hold at these prices.
WOW if it reaches $25 fits the same category. Buy and hold at this level you can't go wrong
