I don't think saltworks is any developers plan for commercial conversion to LCE, it is a way to validate the tech (a third-party conversion into BG carbonate off site, which is a relatively easy process) and reduces the need for that step in a small-scale pilot plant trialing DLE.
ASN have plans for this step at the demo plant I believe, yes Koch seem keen in this space, definitely one to watch
