    That was because the law was in breach of the constitution.

    They did not make a decision on law, but ruled the law invalid.

    Vastly different.

    Courts apply the law the government's create to every case.

    Then decide if law broken or not.

    That's all they do. Or review laws against the constitution if the high court.

    Here, was administration law broke or not? And is a 45 day order appropriate?

    You need to understand the separation of powers between the executive government and the judiciary

    Neither can cross over. It protects our democracy.

    If a judge made a gov decision. Say here.

    It would be appealed to the high court and the federal judge would get a wrap over the nuckles for it.

    The higher court would say the decision can only be made by government. Our job is to review the decision, not make it.

    The constitution says courts can not make executive government decisions also.
