- Short-term visitor arrivals: 587,760 – an increase of 8.4% on one year earlier
- Short-term resident returns: 863,950 – an increase of 18.4% on one year earlier
- Total arrivals: 1,525,610 – an increase of 12.4% on one year earlier
- Total departures: 1,762,410 – an increase of 13.2% on one year earlier
Only in the the last few months airfares have started coming down, seats are increasing on routes, more airlines coming into Australia, China went visa free.
People love travel especially at times like this with cost of living, you want to go overseas where it is much cheaper at the moment, eg Bali, Japan, Thailand etc.
HLO is a safe hold they just don't get a lot of interest because they do zero communication. The dividend is also significantly better then a lot of the peers in the travel industry at a per dollar return rate.
