“The other BS talked here is that Merc, BMW, VW are all turning back to their ICE vehicles! That's total BS. They can't do that. There is no way of going back. They have to do something and make more and better EVs.”

With all due respect Anatol you can make statements like that not knowing what is truly happening. Unfortunately, that’s the reality. For the major OEM’s (outside of China) there is no profit in EV’s (take a look at the recent reporting from Ford, GM etc).

The only OEM that has turned off their ICE vehicles completely is the Vietnamese based VinFast. Now take a look how that is going for them? Biggest mistake they could have made. 75% of their EV sales are to companies that are owned by the majority shareholders. They had also planned to build an EV plant in the USA and have it operational by 2025. How’s that going? Now delayed to 2028 and I can guarantee you it will never get off the ground. Their sales volume in the USA are miserable.

    You also quoted,

“I can't even think to buy a new ICE vehicle if I'd buy a new car. it'd be definitely an EV. I'm sure a lot people think like me.”

Fact. Five people within my office have recently bought new cars. Four ICE and one EV. AND they ALL work for an EV start up.
