Options carry a ‘time premium’ (you can Google this!). The longer the time to expiry of the options, the higher the time premium tends to be. Conversely, as the options get closer to expiry the time premium will diminish, eventually to zero. As the SUMO options still have more than 12 months to run until expiry they currently enjoy a substantial time premium.
