I asked my broker/brokerage (who is in contact with Gary direct) this question about xPRF testing on-site when asking "WTF is going on?" a few days after the Avalon drill and SP drop, and paraphrasing their response (in a nutshell):
"xPRF is not definitive and lab assays are still required which they are doing anyway. They deliberately didn't do xPRF as whatever they announce will move the SP one way or the other, and then any difference with the formal assays will move the SP again which will piss off shareholders one way or the other... so they omitted doing xPRF in favour of simply waiting for formal lab assay."
Take that for what it's worth.
