(1) The Ukraine wants its pre-2014 territory back including the Crimea.
(2) Russia wants to retain the Crimea and 4 Ukrainian Oblasts (partially Russian controlled now)
Status Quo: -Russia controls at least 75% of the Ukrainian territory it intends to permanently annex.
PS: It will now be interesting as to how Russia responds to the UAF incursions into Russia. IMO, like that of the Israeli response to Oct 7th, the response will have to be devastating for the Ukraine; otherwise it will become a regular occurrence . IMO Russia will likely bombard Odessa which would cruel the Ukraine economically
