you do see women on hotcopper on the politics pages but it takes a lot of guts and stamina to stay and write and respond to sone of the garbage. There’s a fine line between giving back what you get and retaining a sense of decency and self respect.
I’m not even sure men know how awful they are to each other. Politics hasn’t got much to do with it. Insults are standard fair, bigotry, jumping to conclusions, name calling. Misogyny is standard fair. Racism. Unhinged posters.
it’s an education for sure. And often entertainment.
