All good, I'm no medical expert so I may be a bit out of my territory when discussing the physiology of the eye with glaucoma. However I believe it's due to the fact that with closed angle, the entire canal is blocked/collapsed and so a stent (which doesn't clear the entire canal, only specific blockages) can't really fix that. You really need a device that goes all the way through the canal and flushes it out. Would be great if there's an ophthalmologist here who can confirm/elaborate, but I know the stents were tried for it initially which is where the whole perception that MIGS can't be used to treat closed angle glaucoma came from. I'm not sure about Omni, it does the canaloplasty but it's so weak (as we have the patented pressurised visco delivery system) that it also requires the trabeculotomy, which I think may also have issues when it comes to closed angle glaucoma (as the trabecular meshwork is damaged)
