Everyone is entitled to an opinion, how others view it is another matter. Bought pls on the announcement and sold the next day for a good %. People overreact both up and down. I see Li stocks going down abit further. There's been many jumps, each time people calling bottom. Yeh..well...It's no longer about value but SP, that's what really affects you as investors. How well can investors see through the fog??? There are many issues and each has weight. Chemical producers profit comes from price of chemicals and volume, spodumen miners profit comes spod and volume (they depend on chinese converters). EV sales affect battery makers. EV makers are dependent on profit from fickle consumers. Each indirectly affect each other. Short sellers try to create havoc coz 9 out of 10 don't really know what they're talking about, including the so called experts. Gxy n Ore merged/ takeover, SP went up during an up period. Ake n livent merged/ takeover (same). Sp go down, in a down period. Looking over the fence. Ajm needed $ in a down period, they signed away the company TITLE for credit and was not able to make repayments, the creditors took control. Pls was on their knees, catl gave them $ in return for part ownership. Pls was just keeping the light on at this stage. Australian super bought Ajm' debt for $200m, under the banner of pls, Australian super recieved PLS shares to the amount. SP went up on an up period. They are now down on a down period. Pls n Lrs merger/takeover (share for share value), same as above in a down period. What is complicated?? PLS or LTM are just codes on the screen. Earnings ratio to SP and reaction of the mob determine the value of your portfolio.
The overpaid people at the top get to sit on their hands and eat pretty cut sandwiches, the people at the bottom get blisters, investors get lied to. It's that simple.
