Sorry mate but that's factually wrong.

For example, Australia funds Catholic education better than it funds public schools and even affords 'charity status' to the Catholic Church [no accountability, tax free, able to send funds overseas etc]. As to the response of 'the state' to the Biblical Flood of revelations about the conduct of men of the cloth ... all the way up to our High Court and overseas all the way up to the Vatican ....

Scott Morrison proudly and boastfully thrust Pentecostalism into the Australian political arena even as his great mate ended up fronting US courts - I'll avoid the temptation to remind other posters of all the water flowing beneath that bridge.

The unrivalled 'special protection' afforded to those identifying as Jewish by both the Coalition and Labor includes state funded armed security guards at Jewish schools, oppressive legislation almost criminalising without charge or trial those who dare criticise the conduct of a genocidal regime such as Netanyahu's and even provides Jewish lobbyists with privileged access to government denied to others.

The highest priority assigned by politicians to rescue / fast track Christians from Syria is at the other end of the scale from Dutton's response to orphaned Palestinian babies whose parents have been vaporised by US bunker-busting bombs.

And of course the extent to which our governments have bank-rolled the establishment of privileged, elitist and select entry religious schools is without equal anywhere else on Earth.
