Depends what you mean, it is all there in the history books so is available to anyone who cares to look? Sure. If you mean "does the general public know about it", mostly not. A lot of information that was only available to historians and academics is now available to everyone since the internet became a thing. But as we all believe we know about these things because we were taught them in school nobody thinks they need to know any more so they don't bother looking. Same goes for a lot of other topics.
