Before we all get too worked up let’s see what RRL’s Plan B is for the Tailings Dam. Based on the Minister’s announcement RRL already has plans in place for alternative sites for tailings and that “crucially” she will not stop the mine (so she supports it).
If it’s not going to blow out project costs then it will be a good PR exercise for the company (and the Minister and the elders). Maybe a win win for everyone.
