Sodonchroff explained the relationship as the 'squeaky door' principle. Albrechsten he said was simply more persistent than anyone else.

It may not pass the pub test but it was enough to thwart further legal investigation. Clearly the judge and the journalist/lawyer ensured that, allowing them to sail close to the wind. Yet I'm happy they did so in the name of transparency and the public's right to know.

The only surprise was that Albrechsten never won a Walkley for her extensive exposes. But that's the Walkley for you.
