Yip - couldn't get a beer unless you could show proof of vaccines - disgusting behaviour. Colleagues of mine travelling in from the UK were detained near Darwin with Federal Police patrolling whilst this charade played out.
Whilst not a "gun to the head", certainly mandates meant that you HAD to comply to their sick wishes OR you simply lost everything, be that salary, job, home, savings or, as I observed, your immigration status
