I understand this point but let's be fair, the Gaza situation is her issue, not Hamas or PLO.... and she has a valid point. plainly the Labs sided with avoiding a contentious position when the terrible humanitarian crisis in Gaza demands that nations stand up against such breaches of Human Rights international laws.
and Senators can indeed introduce new bills for debate and voting. as has been done recently. its simply not a common occurrence.
