One thing that amazes me is that over the last 20 or 30 yrs of this mining boom Australia has had we haven't saved any of it and worse still we've borrowed more, surely we should have saved 20% or something over the decades, what if the boom ends for 10 yrs or something, when one looks back in history theres always cycles and Australia at peak boom revenue is spending more than it earns and borrow even more and spending that too.
