Sneaky IMO its too early for IVZ to give up operatorship.
@7seven7 likes a SASOL farm down.
I think they would be ideal too. Big enough to take the reins when required but small enough to let IVZ continue the leg work for now.
So I personally don't think IVZ will farm down below 50% [ after all the % are drawn down to Mutapa on their back in for 10% ].

The reason we have had very little info is easily explained IMO.
The company were expecting 30-50c sp on discovery. That didn't happen so they had to pivot to the current plan. I'm actually staggered how quickly they got cash out of Mutapa tbh. How long would that have taken in this country....years? On top of that they had to accelerate the farm in process. It takes ages and any interested party would want their own team to go over the prospects, I believe this is why we haven't had any prospective resource number from out East. I think IVZ are waiting to make sure the farm in partner is on the same page as IVZ. It would be mega embarrassing if IVZ put out a number and farm in put out a different number. Those familiar with FAR saw this with the numbers FAR were using compared to Cairn Energy.
Even the 3D and well test would come under scrutiny.
Also IF the farm in is close to being done I see no point in IVZ starting any work programme, especially the flow test. May as well wait until its sorted and as you say PPSA will have to be inked before the farm in will happen.

MK1 was all down to Baker Hughes IMO. One could argue that drilling past 3400 in MK2 was a cock up but if you have independent work done that is telling you there is no overpressure and you have never drilled it then I can see why it happened.
