Hydrogen is only feasible if the electricity to make it is free, or the hydrogen is subsidized HEAVILY by the government. Toyota literally gave away the hydrogen powered cars it had for sale in California for free (like $10,000 dollars after rebates, plus came with a $10,000 voucher for fuel), as almost nobody was willing to pay the equivalent of $22 per gallon for fueling one.
