A bridge TOO far was about attacking BEHIND enemy lines .

But yes it will limmit UAF advance ....(in that direction).....perhaps that's as far norht here as they will attempt (perhaps)
Ukraine will take a good chunk of land , hold it long enough to embarras putin and force him in to bring in troops ...then bleed the russ through their advances , likely slowly retreating IMO .

Many many benefits of this raid ....the prisoners and equipment trophied , stopping the raids into Ukraine , embarrasing putin , raising Ukrainian morale , forcing putin to pull troops from elsewhere .....and yes , encouraging the western donors that their gifts are actually well used .

Improves Ukraines bargaining position .....which is why putin dummy spat about talks ....he wants to dictate terms and this is not helpfull to that .

One big thing is the continual big losses of russ troops ....putin is trying hard not to piss people off at home off by another big mobilisation .....but he is finding it difficult to avoid and the extra troops needed in Kursk .....(general rule of thumb is you need three times as many attackers as defenders ) .....to win back his territory will make that hard to avoid
