The chinese just want the deal to go through... so they make sure the deal looks attractive to shareholders...
Don't underestimate the chinese, buy them up and wait for the recover once the motive becomes capital gain and not sealing a deal through making the shareholders think the company is in distress... which they've done a great job of doing.
