Literal or not, my expectation is that personalities in positions of power use a level of decorum when portraying allies and adversaries alike.
Not to do so shows high levels of illiteracy, poor levels of education and nurturing.
'Poor education' becomes most apparent in times of frustration, when you are not being heard and your message is NOT cutting through, so you resort to just general 'gutter trash expletives' to get your point across. So I wonder how do universities churn out such individual who fail common decency and polite discourse?
We are now down in the gutter from people who profess to do better?
Applies to Aussie politics as well.
