Familiar narrative by the SQM CEO. They will press on with expansion plans to take advantage of the next supply crunch and expected upward price adjustment. They are reviewing some less favorable projects. Different company (major company), very similar narrative to PLS. Expects many projects to stall and curtail supply which analysts have baked into the equation.
Short term, 2024/H1 25, expects prices to stay low.
What is low. Maybe not where they are. Could easily adjust back towards 15-20kt for LC and be considered low.
