The Russian government clearly indicated that they are not interested in negotiating with Ukraine while Ukraine is occupying the Kursk region.

Here's a question.

What's Ukraine going to do with the Kursk lands that it captured? They said they are not going to keep the lands. And the lands are worth nothing as a bargaining chip.

What's the next step in "zelensky's genius plan"?

Mission accomplished (whatever the mission was). Fall back. That may take a month or two though.
