Once Croatia (among others) declared independence Yugoslavia ended. If Serbia didn't try to impose their fascist rule over everyone it may have been a different story. The war started when Serbian forces invaded Croatia and Bosnia to prevent independence. No one forced Serbia to do that. No one forced Serbia to perpetrate genocide. Serbia was forced to stop their crimes against humanity however and as a result of their failed invasions and their depraved crimes against humanity they're now a coastline and Kosovo free rump state. Was it worth it for them? I don't think so. Are you trying to be this clueless about the Balkans or are you just trolling? I am not interested in your deflections Cosmo, feel free to leave them out of the discussion. I want to know where in the constitution did it authorise Serbian forces to perpetrate genocide?

No point arguing with them. Croats and Serbs are totally different cultures just like the Slovaks and the Czechs but they split peacefully. It's called power, control. greed and theivery that stopped the peaceful breakup of Yugoslavia after the end of the fascist dictatorship.
