No, to measure CPACS in patients it will need to be approved by ethics. There's over two years of preclinical work supporting CPACS (not to mention the other programs) that have not yet been announced.
COH lodged their FTO patent off the back of the preclinical work contained in Su et al. It wasn't rejected because the work was produced in cells, it was rejected because it was non-inventive, both the MOA and the molecule were already under patent.
