Notice BHP now using battery electric excavators, combined with a standalone solar array and battery modules. As Jupiter is sparse open flat and sunny , and resource shallow soft free digging it could be an option for power machine and camp power, maybe even electric trucking if studies stack up? Other projects think so.
Would mean more stability in costs rather than variability I’m fuel costs.At end of project life array and batt modules simply moved offsite.
