No one has made the assertion that others can’t vote the way they wish on this issue. I’ve expressed my opinion. You’ve expressed yours.
No one stopped option holders from exercising their holdings. Indeed, they can still do so, if they wish. As I said, option holders bought a raffle ticket and lost. Do you complain when you buy a lottery ticket and don’t win. Whinging and whining ain’t going to persuade me to vote one way or another. Some seemed happy to boast when they were making a paper profit on the options and now seem to be expecting shareholders to pay for their losses.
I’m sure option holders weren’t intending to share their gains with shareholders.
If you don’t like reality, complain to the Government that caused the problem.
