The answer to "are we there yet" is always going to be 'no' right up to the time that it is 'yes'.
Concluding from all the previous 'data' that one has amassed to date that we will never get there because we have not got there yet is an error of both logical analysis and prediction.
It is that kind of error that the naysayers are encouraging everyone to think. But they are always playing the same card. It is the only card they can play. And it appeals to the uncertainties of many. And of course they will technically be correct right up to the point that they are not. If they are waiting for that to happen before they invest, then they will simply see how wrong they have been for so long, but it will be too late. That is fundamentally what investing in new ventures is about. Take a risk - win a gain - risk a loss.
Personally I do not think that they are indifferent to the outcome. They have no financial interest in the success or failure of the venture, but their investment of time and energy in such an effort makes it senseless if they have no reason for posting incessantly on it. It sounds very much like they want the company to fail, or at least they want other interested parties to think it will fail.
It stands to reason to believe that the company is making every effort to perfect a product that is fundamentally difficult to make, and especially so on a minimal budget. But given their achievements to date, such efforts are more likely than not to produce a result that is in line with their announced progress and expected goal. It is therefore entirely reasonable to expect that when they state clearly that they have achieved very satisfactory results from the main - and hardest part of the target, that the company is telling the truth, and can be trusted to complete the lesser and easier part of the job when they say they will. Pay your money - take your risk - wear the results. GLTALTH.
