For the past five years I've been thinking all it needs to become exciting is two good quarters in a row. That never seems to happen and I have to settle for nice, but somewhat average dividend returns.
I haven't done the maths but would assume buybacks would be more EPS accretive than the franchise acquisitions, but then again that wouldn't be too exciting either.
