China has 56 operaring nuclear reactors
China has 26 nuclear reactors under construction now
China just approved 11 more reactors
Chima is expected to approve 10 new reactors every year
China is aiming for 200 GW of Nuclear power by 2035

So China is goimg gang busters on Nuclear, and coal, and solar and wind amd pumped hydro


I found the ABC article that it appears you read, keep readimg and you will find this

"So although China is installing solar and wind generation equivalent to five large nuclear power plants per week, their output is closer to one nuclear plant per week.

Renewables account for more than half of installed capacity in China, but only amount to about one-fifth of actual energy output over a year, the CEF's Tim Buckley said."

i think you will find coal is the bulk of the remainder
