The thing is with these protests they raise the issue in the public arena.....a lot of people would not otherwise be aware of what is happening off their coast and the risks it presents....

If it then becomes a politic/public issue then expect delays which can be costly...it is better to sit on the fence with companies like this rather than see your investment money and SP value go down the drain as protracted negotiations extend timetables etc...
