PRU will at some point make a take over bid..

“Perseus is not currently in discussions with Predictive and, subject to there being no actual or proposedmaterial change in the shareholding of Predictive (including a change of control proposal) or the actions ofPredictive, Perseus has no CURRENT intention to acquire control or make a takeover offer for Predictive.”

The key word is “current”… which clearly leaves the door open for something down the track.

PRU’s ~17% stake in PDI forces management to engage (enter discussions) with PRU, so the scene is set for a take over, whether hostile or collaborative..
