cant help but think there is an ulterior motive behind this brain fart. an employee already has the right to not answer emails or phones outside of work hours - or even in. if this is written into the contract then it might be a different thing but no one has to answer a communique. and if one does answer then its ones own fault for not turning the phone off or leaving it home.
