This about says it all IP written off to zero as they dont expect enough cash flow from sales of IP to when patents expire.

The discount rate is pretty severe at 21.8% pre-tax but all up doesn't amount to much above nothing, or auditors can't be convinced they will ever make money.

Good to clean up the books but sends a strong message they are not expecting much so likely to reduce expenditure on Patents in future. ie no big technological breakthroughs expected. Will wash through so low may be a good buy for long-term holding

So can they make money with what they have - yes if they make a consumer product of their own and go all in.
