I remember in Primary school in the 60,s and 70,s morning assembly with our national anthem every single day and the raising of the Aussie flag. Basic spelling, grammar, arithmetic, sports, nothing else until High School, then more of the same but also biology and physics, geography, Art, and history, WWI, WWII, Vietnam and other battles, and yes learning about ALL of the rest of Australia’s history. Glad I finished my schooling before the woke brigade took over the world.

I did appreciate and agree with what Gina was speaking about. I just hope her intent here with LTR is just as genuine.

The worst part of all the changes in our country is banning bonfire night with our own box of firecrackers. If we still had bonfire night we wouldn’t have any shorters to worry about. “Build a bonfire, build a bonfire, put the shorters on the top, put the hedge funds in the middle and………… “. I wonder if anybody else can remember this little tune?
