Let me explain this for you Allan so you can put your mind at rest...

If 7-11 in Dallas Texas drops it's price for a cup of coffee to $0.10, does that mean the 7-11 in Enmore is going to drop it's price to $0.10? No, it doesn't. Same with gas.

So, this puts you in a tricky spot doesn't it. Do you just pay the $3 for your cup of coffee at Enmore, or do you head to Dallas and buy one for $0.10?

Given the cost of flying to Dallas and back is probably $1500, it doesn't make economic sense to do that, same with gas, the transport cost means any potential price saving is lost.

While you can fly to Dallas and back for a cup of coffee, there is no functioning gas import terminal currently operating in Australia so the only price that is relevant in NSW is the Australian East Coast price.
