and what is your definition of COST outawater ?
___________________________________________________________
Tillegra Dam Hunter Valley - 450,000 megalitres latest cost estimate $1B or $2,222 per megalitre
Penny Wong buy back of water in 2009 peaked at $2,400 per megalitre.
Tillegra Dam has been scrapped - dodgey geological region, plus political expediency by NSW Govt - smart move, right dam wrong location.
Vic Desal Plant $5b, equivalent water storages at similar cost - would hold 2,272,272 megalitres, no brown coal needed to operate etc, therefore saving co2 emmissions, plus opportunity for hydro power
Melbourne's current water supply at full capacity 1,812,175
I rest my case,
oh I forgot, the deniers say it is not going to rain anymore, to them I say step out side
