Hi troutfisho, defender of the faith number one here. IMO it's always amusing to see the old gang come out of the woodwork whenever there's a sniff of something controversial to get their teeth into. Don't hear from the pack for months at a time, then there they are ripping right into it with the same old same old, adding nothing of value, completely bereft of any meaningful insight.
I mean, seriously, when you have posters coming on here accusing other posters of being delusional and in the same breath telling us that their ten and twelve year-old chidren could have negotiated the $50 million dollar Exclusive Licensing and Industrialisation Agreement with Sanofi, how can you expect to be taken seriously, let alone expect others to enter into an intelligent debate?
Truth is, you can't.
I know it's just another inconvenient truth, (plenty of them around!), but as far as the CEO is concerned, while some like to spout personal invective against the man, they need to remember that it is a condition precedent of any takeover, hostile or friendly, that Alan Shortall remains in the position for a minimum two years.
I know that doesn't suit some people's world view of things, but it IS the truth. I can only wonder why Sanofi would insist on that, if as some would have us believe, he has no more intellect or executive ability than ten year-old?
As for the CR/SPP, it goes without saying I think it's extremely positive for the company. We needed the money to purchase additional capital equipment, (presumably more Mikron lines, time will tell), and we got the money. If it IS for additional production lines, it follows that they are being purchased either in anticipation of, or as a direct result of, Sanofi and other Supply Agreements being signed in the near future. From there it truly will be game on. And yes, not before time, but at least that time is about to arrive.
For me I cannot help but wonder what some people will have to gripe about then?
Good luck.
