Does anyone know whether the merger will present opportunities related to the network effect?
I get my info on the network effect here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_effect
Does it apply to BGL? Does BGL have its sites 'talk' to each other in the way a phone network does? I figure it probably doesn't given that BGL is one medium of reaching the internet. It is not part of a closed system in the way a phone network was when it was just phone lines.
Any thoughts? Obviously if the network effect does occur, the merger is a lot more valuable for CVA (but still a good deal for both parties)
