Yes it is that simple.. But how do they make money if they are forced to sell shares at a far lower price than they paid for them ?
I think it must be the exercise of an option and they are borrowing ahares from a different index fund.
So one index fund is cannibalising another fund.
Really like to find out what is really happening. I'm just guessing here.
