brokers seem to think this is (very) cheap but near term news flow may be mixed or weak. they may struggle to get to the bottom end of their production guidance. capex / future unplanned shutdowns may be an issue.
it's a hated stock no doubt and there is the opportunity. consistent operational performance required for a rerate. STAM brought focus on cap management which is a good thing but is not in and of itself going to rerate the stock if operations are weak.
there is next to no likelihood of a takeover here IMO. its very cheap but short life assets in Brazil are not on anyone's shopping list.
